Dax Summerhill, Pastor

Pastor Dax Summerhill is the husband to Laurie and the father to seven children: Joshua, Myrick, Sarah Jane, Allie, Kate, Adah, and Anna. He is a native of Mississippi and received his education at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. In December 2009, He earned a Ph.D. in Theology from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Besides reading theology and spending time with his family, Pastor Dax enjoys spending time outdoors watching football, playing golf, hunting, and fishing. He has served in full-time Christian ministry since 2003, having previously served two churches in Mississippi as pastor. Pastor Dax has been at PVBC since January 2011. Crystal Smith, Ministry Assistant

Crystal serves PVBC on a part-time basis doing secretarial and accounting work. She has two teenage children. Crystal is a faithful member of Covenant Community Church in Lake Butler, FL. Contact her at
